Here are some of my favorite and frequently visited links:
7/4/2009 Update: After a very long time, I've updated my site.  Please note that sadly some (if not most) of these sites are no longer existing.  I have removed the link, but have kept my notes of these classic sites up.

Best places to find X-File info.:

[X-Files]-Haven: A Mulder and Scully Focused X-File Site
I don't go a day without checking The Haven first.  They have just about anything you could want.  Webmistress Amy keeps you in the loop with the daily X-files news and spoilers, along with an abundance of images, collages,  multi-media and an archive focusing on our famous duo.

The X-Files Official Website
This is Fox's official site.  They have revamped their web site.  Summaries of all the episodes can be found here along with video, audio, teasers as well as contests.

The Official Gillian Anderson Web Site - GAWS
GAWS is without a doubt the best resource for anything relating to the talented Gillan Anderson.  Not only do they have one of the most complete GA photo gallery's I have ever seen, but they also do an incredible job supporting her charity Neurofibromatosis.

Duchovny Net...so much more than Mulder
Has any kind of information you could ever want about the man behind who created such an appealing character.  The title says it all.  There is so much more and you can find it here.

Some of my favorite fanfic sites to visit:

Ephemeral
If you need your fanfic now, this is the place to go.  Scott has done a wonderful job with this site, which auto-archives fics posted on the ATXC.

The Gossamer Project
The most extensitve archive of fanfiction on the web.

Keep the Faith:  X-Files Fanfic Archive
Created by yours truely.  This is an archive of stories that go a bit further, explore characters a bit deeper than what we have seen on the show.
2009 Update note: This website is no longer being updated, however the Authors Page is going strong.

The Annex - Novel Archive
The annex is home for X-Files stories and compiled series that are 200K or larger.  It's a great place to visit when you have time to relax and browse on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

X-Files Fan Fiction Links
Links to author pages, specialized archives, mailing links, featured sites and related sites.

Deep Background
I can't tell you how many time this site has helped me with a story.  This site has information on every aspect of the X-Files world, from detailed episode summaries to itemizations of the contents and floor plans of Mulder and Scully's apartments, not to mention descriptions of all the characters. You have to see it to believe it.

My favorite XF artists:

E's X-Page
This site is the home of the talented collage artist Erin.  Her collages are gorgeous and used by webmasters all over the web.

The Haven for the FBI's Most Unwanted
Amy the wonderful webmistriss at the Haven, not only manages an awsome site (see above), but she's also an incredible artist.  Her collages are beautiful and express the incredible chemistry between our favorite agents.

The X-Ville Art Gallery
This site features an large collection of X-Files artwork by a variety of very talented people.

Ally's X-Files Mosaic
There is no end of talent to be found and Ally is no exception.  It's through her collages that she can express her feelings about the show and it speaks volumes!

The Mulder & Scully Art Gallery
Belle's site is a great place to find her beautiful Collages, M&S theme website graphics, and other artsy X-Files stuff for you and/or website.

Tere's X-File Art
Tere's another talented artist that takes her work to another level.  Her collages are simply gorgeous.

Here is some of *my* favorite authors and their stories.  Most of these stories are MSR or UST and may contain adult subject matter.  Please do not read any story marked NC-17 if you are underage.

Analise  One of the first fics I ever read was "A Path Of Salt".  Her ingenious plot twists and angst filled stories is what got me hooked on fanfic immediately.

Andrea  "Old Growth Forest" is an incredibly imaginative story that takes quite a few twists and turns before the ride is over and then your sad when it is.

Angel  I was hesitant to read her dark post-colonization novel "Nova" at first, but the more I read, the more I was pulled into the story.

Beduini I was on edge with her post-ep novel "Return The Hero pt.1 and ReturnThe Hero pt.2" and looking for a bucket of ice to cool down with her story "Hot", but my favorite has to be a series of vignettes called "Scenes".  It's a lovely portrayal of the progression in Mulder & Scully's relationship.

Char Chaffin  I simply melted reading her story "Drowning In You".  Her characterization in on the dot.  It's a definite must read!

Char Chaffin and Tess collaborated to write an amazing post-colonization novel called "Deliverance From Evil." It takes off from Fight The Future and further explores the roles of the bees.  The story is original and they do a fab job on chacterization.

Dasha K  I highly recommend "Blinded by White Light". It is an incredibly romantic and angsty post-colonization story.

Dlynn  Out of what seems to be hundreds of all-things post-ep's, "All Things Bright and Beautiful" is the one that stands out in my mind the most.

JLB  I really wish CC would let the kind of closeness that JLB let M&S explore in "Abstract Insight" on the show.

Kemystre It's hard to believe that "The Fifth Column" is her first foray into the fanfic world, but it is and Kemystre writing is beautifully descriptive and her characterization of Mulder & Scully's plight in this action packed adventure is right on the money.  Fair warning though, her story is dripping with angst, but worth reading all the way through just for the ending.

Lisa  "Fruition" is a lovely insight of Scully's growing relationship with Mulder.

Lydia Bower  I was simply blown away by Lydia's "Dancing Without Sleeping pt.1 and Dancing Without Sleeping pt.2".  A very powerful read.

MD1016  "Cheapend Things" is an daring combination of smut and angst will please every shippers craving.

Michaela  "Unnatural Disaster" This suspence filled story had me on the edge of my seat. Not only does it have incredible characterization of Mulder and Scully, but very creepy (and cleaverly used) killer.

Rachel Anton  I'm not into time travel fics, but "Eleventh Hour" was the exception in my book. I also have to mention the Mulder angst/Mythology "Temporal Functions".  It's scary to think that something like this could happen.  Read it and you'll know what I mean.

Scullysfan  I just love the tender and angsty "Evidence of Things Unseen".

SueBee   I will never look at another jelly-filled donut in quite the same way after reading SueBee's post-ep "Finer Things".

Susan Frankovich  Susan writes poems and short stories.  It's so hard to pick just one of her amazing stories.  Saying a lot with few words is a hard thing to do, but Susan is one of the few who do it well.

T-Bishop  In her story, "Footprints in the Sand," Teresa's characterizations were right on target and the situation she creates for Mulder and Scully are not only very believable, but an appropriate ending for the show.  CC could take a lesson from her!  Don't forget to read the pre-quel "Progenesis."
